Herman Munster.
Herman Munster is married to Lily, and is the proud father of Eddie and Uncle of Marilyn just like in the origonal Munsters show. He still works at Gateman, Goodbury and Graves funeral Parlour as a grave digger.
Herman Munster is over a few hundred years old and towers above all the other members of the family at 2.25 metres. He has a completely flat head, steel bolts in his neck, a handsome green complexion, and a lovely jagged fork on his brow.
Herman was made in a German lab by Dr. Victor Frankenstein, who rose him as a son until his death. As with the origonal format, Herman left Germany at an early age and was adopted in England by a family called Munster, who gave him their name.

  Interesting Facts.
According to the laws of the Munsters today, Herman Munster has been married to Lily for over 275 years (dramatically different to the origonal show). He also has a brother named Frank, who he doesn't get on with; this due to a dispute arising around the time when their "father", Doctor Frankenstein died. This contradicts the origonal Munsters show since the character Herman was never known to have a brother named Frank but a brother named "Yohan" who was uncivilised and had roamed the Transylvanian countryside for a hundred years until the origonal Dr Frankenstein's nephew found him.

Profile On John Schuck.
John Schuck was born 4th February 1940 in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. He is also known for his role as Sgt.Charles Enright in the 1976 TV Series "McMillan & Wife".
He also starred in such films as "Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home" (1986) as the Klingon Ambassador, and "Project ALF" (1996) as Dr. Ginsburg. Schuck intrestingly enough had a starring role as The Frankenstein monster well before playing Herman Munster in the 1979 film "The Halloween That Almost Wasn't", aka "The Night Dracula Saved The World".

Gripe.
In The Munsters Today, a Doctor Frankenstein makes an appearance in season two; a direct descendant of the origonal Dr Victor Frankenstein. In this episode Herman finds out that the origonal Dr Frankenstein, his "father", Dr Victor has died hundreds of years ago, yet in the origional series he already knew of this (maybe he forgot!?!). The Munsters today had links within the show supporting the fact that MUNSTERS TODAY was a follow up to THE MUNSTERS, (ie; the storyline of suspended animation, ad a reference of Lily not changing her dresssinc 'the old series' in spisode ""). Also, in the episode "Reunion" where brother Frank appears, Herman speaks of Frank not showing up for their Dad's very last birthday party. Interesting, isn't it? The producers obviously hadn't done their homework on the facts of the origonal show.
Bad boys!
